Who I Am & the Dreams I Follow
I’m Sanja — a photographer and (event) designer based in Munich. I’ve always been someone who
slips easily into dream worlds. Maybe that’s why my name fits me so well — it means “little dream.”
As a child, I lived in costumes, masks, and imagination. And somehow, that thread never left.
It simply changed shape.
My creative path began at the Residenztheater in the world of costumes, guided by my fascination for transformation, storytelling, and human expression. From there, I moved to Paris, working alongside fashion photographer Schohaja and photographing backstage at Fashion Week — a place of beauty, intensity, and contradictions. I loved the artistry, but I couldn’t ignore the truth behind the industry.
It pushed me toward a more conscious way of creating and consuming, and eventually toward a fresh start. I studied Communication Design with a focus on fashion, explored tailoring, worked in film costume departments — but no matter how many worlds I tried on, one thing kept returning to me with quiet persistence: the camera. Never loud, never demanding. Just… there. A way of seeing.
A way of understanding. A way of dreaming while awake.
And then music found me again. Through singing circles and gatherings, something opened. I began hosting music events, and a deep fascination for sound work led me into a 100-hour training that strengthened my ability to hold space — with sensitivity, presence, and intuition.
Today, I bring all these worlds together:
photography · design · sound · storytelling · space holding
I work with people, brands, and projects connected to music, art, sustainability, culture, movement, and nature. My goal is simple:
to translate the essence of what you create into images that feel honest, intimate, and alive.
Whether it’s a retreat, a concert, a personal story, or a vision for your brand — I’m here to make sure you are truly seen. In your depth. In your beauty. And in the quiet magic that happens in between.
